Alimony Payment Changes

How can I reduce my alimony payments to coincide with reduction in my monthly income? Also, is it possible to make the changes retroactive to date of change in income?

Re: Alimony Payment Changes

You will have to go to court to get an order reducing the amount of spousal support. The amount of support that you owe continues to increase each month. The court cannot reduce support after the date that it is due. The only exception is that the court can make the order effective back to the date that you filed the motion to reduce support.
