alimony/child support

if a man remarries in California can her income be used to recalculate his child support and/or alimony.

Re: alimony/child support

New spouse income is considered in setting child support only to the extent that it changes the taxes paid by the payor parent. It is less clear in spousal support as that is determined by need and the ability to pay. It could be argued that the new spouse income reduces the living expenses for that spouse and increases the ability to pay.
