Legal Question in Family Law in California
me andmy girlfriend got into an argument. she wouldnt let go of me so i pushed her away. her mom heard bout it and is now threathning me that ill be having legal issues. me and my girlfriend are still together. she doesnt want to press charges because it was just an argument. her mom keeps blowing up my phone. what can we do?

There is no up side to domestic violence. Suggest you both take a class focused on how to handle the situation when you do not agree with each other - and let her mother know that you are taking the class to correct the problem. If your girlfriend is under 18 - her mother can pursue action against you because she is the parent. If your girlfriend is over 18 it is up to your girl friend to decide whether to file for restraining order, call the police etc.
