Legal Question in Family Law in California

Annulment

I want to get an annulment based on fraud. We have been married for 1 month, I'm in the military and we did it for the extra money we would get and benefits, however we both decided this was a bad decision, and have stopped and not recieved and government pay so we would not fraud the military. Is the base for an annulment?

Re: Annulment

It is unlikely that you can get an annulment. In California fraud requires one person to commit the fraud and the other person to be the victim of the fraud. You should either get a divorce in California or when you transfer to another state and meet the residency requirements and then get an annulment or divorce.
