Legal Question in Family Law in California

Annulment over Divorce

I do not know which to pursue. Generally, is the annulment more expensive? From what I hear, the annulment advantages lean more towards personal or religious reasons. I do not care about that, should I go thorugh divorce instead? Any LEGAL advantages getting an annulment? Rumors say a divorve looks bad on you, true? (I've heard it affects credit score also) My wife has been recently diagnosed as being bi polar, a borderline schizophrenic, and recently got pregnant with someone else's child. Are these enough grounds for an annulment? This would all be uncontested, so what option would be in my best interest keeping the price low, and the shortest time from when paperwork starts to when it gets finalized?

An annulment has no legal advantages exept that you can be free to marry sooner. The grounds that you state are not grounds for an annulment. Annulmnet requires fraud in inducement to marry. A dissolution is much easier. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
