Legal Question in Family Law in California

Annulment -

Got married in July 2005. Was psychologically pushed into it so he can receive green card here. When told I couldn't do this anymore, he went back to Germany April 2006. I filled for annulment May 2006. Filled out all paperwork, mailed copies to him at last known address and requested hearing. He never responded being that he is in Germany. Court returned the paperwork stating they never received response from respondent. I didn't know what to do since I don't know his whereabouts, we are no longer in contact since 2006. I set paperwork aside and forgot about it. Now I need to finalize this annulment as soon as possible. Checked the Los Angeles Superior Court website. Case is still open and pending. What can I do to finalize this case?

You will have to file a motion for an uncontested hearing to give the court an opportunity to decide if there are grounds for an annulment.

It is not clear from your post whether you have grounds for an annulment. You should have at least had him properly served in accordance with the Hague Convention, and then requested the entry of default when he failed to respond.
