annulment

i got married on July 25 2008 and i wanted to see about how to get an annulment i wish not to stay married to him and i dont know what to do as of now

I would suggest that you contact an attorney to determine whether or not you can obtain an annulment. An annulment is granted on specific grounds and the fact that it is a short marriage, of even 5 minutes, is not sufficient for an annullment. Also, a dissolution is easier and quicker the only disadvantage, as far as the law goes, is the waiting period. If you file for an annulment ask for a dissolution "in the alternative" so that if the annulment is not granted, you do not need to start all over again. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
