Legal Question in Family Law in California

Annulment

I am going to marry my boyfriend. I was in a previous marriage that was fraud. My ex was married and never got a divorce. Would it be ok to marry my boyfriend without any restrictions. Being that my previous marriage was a lie.

Re: Annulment

You should file an action to establish that your marriage was a nullity based upon a previous marriage, not on fraud. If you did not do that and his spouse filed for a nullity or he had the marriage determined a nullity that would validate your current marriage and invalidate your marriage to your boyfriend.
