Legal Question in Family Law in California
Anullment Possibilities
My wife and I were married on August 14, 1999. Approximately 6-7 weeks later, another woman kissed her which caused my wife to realize that she did not want to be with a man, but a woman instead.
I now live in Texas because we separated so my wife could have time to sort her feelings out.
My questions:
Is an anullment something that we can handle ourselves?
What advantages are there to having an attorney represent me?
This is not a bad break up, other than my emotions being played with.
Please help.

Re: Anullment Possibilities
Obtaining an annulment in California is not a simple matter. The grounds for an annulment are narrow. To be sucessful in a petition for an annulment one must fit the facts of their case into one of the three grounds for an annulment. To do this requires the training and knowledge of an attorney.
