Legal Question in Family Law in California
after arguing and fighting for several days (wife accusing husband of cheating) my son's wife left him and moved to OR from CA...she is 5 - 6 months pregnant...they have been married since August 7th 2009...he doesn't want to stay married...what steps does he need to take legally?

He needs to get his divorce filed in California right away. I would have to research the details of jurisdiction in this situation, but I know for sure that it will not improve his chances of retaining California jurisdiction over the divorce and the child can only get worse if he waits. So if there is no chance or desire for reconciliation, he should get things moving here.
