You would not be responsible for children born without your consent by artificial insemination. They are legally no relation to you. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

Re: artificial insemination to give birth

There has been a lot of litigation and a lot of case law on this issue. If the children were conceived and born during your marriage, you are the legal father and are responsible for them. If this is not the case, but you signed a voluntary declaration of paternity or there is a judgment of paternity, then you are the legal father of the children. Even so, there are several exceptions to even these cases. From here, the law gets murky and depends on a host of issues. I would need to get more info to give you an answer. I had one case involving artificial insemination where the court made a judgment that the child had two legal fathers!
