Legal Question in Family Law in California

When attending court session, would it be permissable to read my written arguements instead of trying to remember everything with the pressure of court? Does this seem pre-meditated and judge be against it?

You can read a prewritten statement. I've seen attorneys do it in the Court of Appeal. It would be much better for you to discuss the case and answer the judge's questions directly.
