Legal Question in Family Law in California

My attorney never signed and filed my court ordered child support orders with the California court from over two years ago. I do have the courts notes stating there is child support ordered. Does my sons father still have to pay child support or is this considered default and he no longer has to pay?

It would appear that there was an actual order made for child support, and that your attorney was supposed to actually prepare a formal order for filing, however, the fact that the formal order wasn't prepared does not get rid of your son's father's obligation to pay court ordered child support.
