Legal Question in Family Law in California

my atty never filed the judgement from july 2009 that defines court orders of alimony, etc. I am still not divorced as he did not file that document either. how do i complete this process? My ex has not paid alimony in 3 years as he lost his job. what recourse do i have? cost for divorce at this point over $50,000. I am broke and concerned how to finish this. Husband was to submit quarterly statements as to his work status in support of the judgement not filed. He also never paid my atty fees as required by the judge. I have an appt with a paralegal, but am concerned as to the lack of legal advice. When he lost his job, he was given a severance pkg and I recieved zero from it even though there was a garnishment of wages assigned to him. Is corporate responsible for a share of his severance pkg to me?

You really require the services of a skilled family law attorney in your county to review your paperwork in an effort to assess the most expedient way you can get these orders filed. If the court already adopted the terms of your judgment at a hearing, you may be able o return to court to enforce those support and attorney fee provisions. The severance package requires analysis to ascertain if there is any community property interest in that payout or if you can turn to those funds for spousal support.
