Legal Question in Family Law in California
Authority of Child Protective Services
My husband has a daughter from previous marriage. Her mother has alleged child abuse against me. My husband was not present during the two alleged incidents. Can CPS force us both to take anger mgmt & parenting classes and cut off his visitation rights until they are completed? If we choose to go to court, do we have to honor the CPS visitation ruling until our court date?

Re: Authority of Child Protective Services
You have to understand that CPS is a moneymaking scam. For every child stolen from a parent they receive thousands of dollars from the federal government. At present you have no rights in their system. There are numerous websites on the subject. Maybe someday there will be a California ballot measure to limit their power. I can only wish you the best of luck, and write to your elected representatives.
