Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was awarded spousal support after my divorce 3 years ago. With the order stating spousal support would be in effect until I remarry. At the time my ex was receiving SSI as well as Ins payments from an accident out of state. I agreed to a small part of the settlement from his case and now he is saying he doesn't have to pay the spousal support. I have asked him to please help since I am unemployed and have a special child at home. He says I can go to court because I show only SSI income. He is working under the table also. What can I do and how long will it take,we are soon to be homeless Help!

I guess my question to him would be what portion of that settlement was allocated to "future wages" that are being "earned" in addition to SSI income?
