back child support

I owe 34,000 back child support 52,000 with interest. Both my children are now 21 so I do not pay current child support. What is the maximum amount that can be attached to my wages? Currently I am self employed and am going to go back to my old occupation.

Re: back child support

Federal limits wage garnishments to 25% of your take home pay to collect a debt. However, child support comes first and the maximum is 50%.
