Legal Question in Family Law in California

What to do now.

Hello back in Nov,2005 my son and his mother & other members of his family became victims of crime during my sons hospitaliztion i talk to a c.p.s worker which informed

me that i would be getting temp. custody of my son but he didn't know how long. well in late Dec,05 my case worker called to let me know that i only have temp custody until

my sons mother relocated also that i had to give vistation every weekend to his mother which i don't agree because the visits are at the place were the crime happened i feel that it may have an affect to my son.my sons case is not even open with c.p.s anymore. My questions, i never went into court or recieved any documention stateing i got temp custody, do i have temp custody legally. I was wondering what i should do now since the case is no longer open and how would i go about finding if there is any progress in his mother finding a change of residence. do i have to agree with visitions.

Re: What to do now.

You should retain a family law attorney who does custody matters. Your case is too complex to be handled with just a few questions. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
