I am legally married in the state of California. Is it bigamy to marry another person in another country such as England and what could happen to me if it was found out that I was married to 2 different men at the same time?

Yes, it is bigamy. Yes, it is against the law in most jurisdictions, definately in England. You could be sent to prison. I don't know what the penalty for bigamy is in England.
