Legal Question in Family Law in California

Not biological father

I've been paying court ordered support for a 6 y/o child, and Im on the birth cert. I honestly thought it was mine. Once at court, I said that I was the father, never took a paternity test. I finally did one, and found out it's not biological related to me. Can I get out of this w/o paying more support? I also have the minor on my insurance. Is there a law which states that I agree to keep minor on insurance, but I dont pay support?...Is that unheard of?? Please let me know my options. Thanks for your time
