I bought a house 3 months after marriage. I put down $40,000 down payment from my own savings i had before marriage. i made all the payments from my separate bank account and paid all the property taxes. Is the house community property if the deed is only in my name as a single person?

Be certain all payments can be traced to your separate property. If you make payments from money earned during the marriage, she would have an equitable claim based on payments from community proceeds - the money earned during the marriage belongs to each 50/50.
