Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex boyfriend and I have a child who is now 15 years old. We never married.

I live in California and My Ex moved to Louisiana in 2004 from Calif. Before he moved, we drafted and notarized an agreement between us regarding child support, custody, upon death etc...

My ex has been in charge of sending me child support to his discretion for 13 years. All of a sudden, he has solely decided to alter our agreement by reducing my sons child support.

I need some advice on how I can get him to uphold his agreement legally and have my son's child support be direct deposited into my account.

Sincerely,

Melinda

You should turn the matter over to the Department of Child Support Services. They will take over enforcement and collection.
