Legal Question in Family Law in California
My boyfriend is running from his domestic violence charge. None can find him. The detectives came to my home to ask questions about his tattoos and stuff but the detective that came to my home is t the one from the case. Everytime I call the one on the case he never answers. Why would a detective that's not the one from the case come instead of the one from the case.

Just because there is one detective assigned to be in charge of the case doesn't mean there aren't other detectives working on it. Any detective who knows what information needs to be gathered can interview a victim or witness and write up a report to add to the investigation.
