Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was with my ex boyfriend for 6 years out of those six years hes left me and his children on and off.Our oldest child is 4 yrs old since then hes been in and out of jail cant hold a job .now hes getting out of jail in october and is fighting for visitation rights we have three kids and all together hes been their for about 2 years out of those 6 years he never supported or supports them maybe one box of diapers and one can of milk through out their whole life if we go to court will he get rights to see them.our kids are 4,1,and 2months thank you

He will probably get some amount of visitation, but you have a good case for it to be supervised and of limited duration. You also have a right in the same hearing to ask that he be ordered to pay back and future child support. Be sure to put that request in your response to his papers.
