Legal Question in Family Law in California

Breaking the judges order, divorce.

I am going through divorce. I am the co-signer on the car that my ex drives. I wanted to sell the car and remove myself from being the co-signer, but the judge left me as a co-signer because his credit is bad and he can't qualify by himself. Also, the judge ordered for him to make the payments on time. He was late twice which is reflected on my credit report. We have the trial setting conf. in the end of January but I need to do something about it now since he is just ruining my credit. What actions can I take in order for the judge to order the sale of the car? Can this be done as an ex-parte?

Re: Breaking the judges order, divorce.

you can try to do it ex parte, be prepared to explain the urgency. i think it's something you'll have to deal with at trial.
