brother taking abvantage of dads money
my dad is 90 yrs old with prostate ca. my brother lives with dad. brother uses speed and takes advantage of dad when he goes to store, he uses his bank card to bring what ever dad needs then he takes a little cash for himself. brother is unemployed collecting money. never pays dad back. bro. uses it for casino. also screams at dad when he is hungry so my dad goes with bro. to feed his face or gives him money. bro does not help cook for dad. i have 2 sisters who takes turns after work to go down to dads to cook meals for dad. dad wants us sometimes to cook something that brother likes but it upsets us girls cause bro knows how to cook and won't. he also has a puppy who he hits it and puppy is always crying. yesterday bro took dad with him to vet. cause dog was dehydrated, infected tail, and has to be on IV. took dad to pay for it. what can we do to stop this man from taking advantage of dad and his finances. Oh i more thing, dad covers for brother. brother is 46 yrs. old

You should either obtain a temporary conservatorship or report this situation to the local adult abuse center. If you feel that the brother may become abusive, reporting this to adult protective services will protect father without your direct involvement.
