Legal Question in Family Law in California

Business, house, divorce issue

The house was signed over by by mother (executor) to us. It had to be bought in the summer of 05. I started an online business to help my husband (who can't seem to get a real job), now if we split I have no where to go (pets, but no kids thankfully). My regular job recently cut me to two days/week (real estate). I'm desperate. At first I thought I could be business partners, but we can't live or be near each other (never could - I always slept in living room for most of the 4.5 yrs). Help? I have no money - it got all tied up trying to get business going. If we split now, I think we will both owe each around $20k. When I first met him, I had excellent credit and had my cc paid off every month.

Re: Business, house, divorce issue

Sorry I don't understand your questions. If you both own the house it will be sold and the proceeds divided equally. You may be entited to spousal support.
