Legal Question in Family Law in California

CA273.5 police report says, my wife had an "cut on upper lip". My wife never had this cut and did not tell officer during her narration to 911 or upon officer's visit to our house.

This happened 5 days back.

What information (other than wife's written statement and her facial pictures) can I collect to prove that Police officer wrote it wrong in the report?

Your wife should tell the police that they mis quoted her or they incorrectly reported the matter into their reports. Your other solution might be to have any physical evidence you have to contradict that report, maybe photographs or hospital medical records. Those would probably be the most accurate from the standpoint of what injuries were sustained.

For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.

As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
