What are the calculations for child support based on ? Does it include income from investments and income on property rentals ? If my ex partner is hiding money, how can I access that information ?
We have a 50/50 custody agreement and he wants to lower his child support claiming that he is not making any money at the moment.

California law treats money from any source as income for CS calculation purposes. It is up to you to prove that your ex is hiding income since you would be the one to raise the issue. Unfortunately that may mean hiring a private investigator to locate the sources of funds.
