Legal Question in Family Law in California
California Department of Child Support Services overcharged me for child support and sent the money to a foreign country (the money can�t recover).
1. Can I sue DCSS not in Family court?
2. Can I request a jury trial ?

You can sue DCSS, but you might not get to a jury trial if the department has your case dismissed, especially on immunity grounds. I do suggest that you speak to an attorney about receiving credit, or having the excessive overcharge being refunded by the department.
