Legal Question in Family Law in California
My California Divorce Attorney made a mistake on a pension stipulation, charged, and acknowledged the mistake, saying well I could have written it better, but cost me several thousand dollars. Can I sue him to get back the money I paid him?

Assuming this didn't happen too long ago, yes. You could also sue him for the lost pension benefits too. You can also arbitrate the fees he charged you.

Mr. Walley is basically correct. More specifically, you have a right to demand county bar association fee arbitration over the fees he charged, and sue him for the pension money you lost. Or you can go straight to suing him for both.
