california divorce

what is the best way for someone from the bahamas to divorce someone from california. the marriage took place in california. husband (bahamas) wants the divorce but wife (california) does not. will the husband have to live in california 6 months in order to get this divorce? is it possible for him to live in another state (lets say TN) and obtain the divorce? does he have to divorce her in california?

Once you have been in Tennessee for 6 months, you could get the divorce here.

A person can file for a divorce wherever they are a resident. Residency requirements vary. Check the law in the Bahamas.
