hi, iam in california, i am in a unhealty abusive relationship, my kids father doesn want to help me in my legal status, we have been together about 8-10 years iam moving and came back many times, cause could barely make it by myself, he keeps telling me to leave his house, and dont want me to take the kids because i wont be able to support them, he doesn want my to get child support and tell me to do not be a charge to the system, is difficult for me to get a job and apartment and i dont have no money, i know is not healty being here but iam so tired and drained, and scared to be out there in the world without no family to help me and he pressuring me to leave, he says that his house and everithing he has is him because he is the only one that have worked for all this years, besides me keeping the house and helping him in his small bussines, i have babysitt his dauther for seven years and he is still telling me that i have not help him, please advise me, i am so tired and drained of this situation without inmigration hope for me,

You are entitled to half of all property obtained during the marriage, with only a few exceptions. None of those exceptions have anything to do with who worked in the house and who worked outside the house.
