California Inmate proceedure

Does an inmate in a california prison due to be released in early august2002, wants to file for Dissolution, can this be done while incarcerated or does he need to wait to be released? any other special rules or proccess to be followed?

The fact that a party to a divorce proceeding is incarcerated can present some logistical issues with respect to attaining the dissolution, however there are no rules I know of specifically regarding inmates and divorce. Just go ahead and file the proper paperwork and proceed with the suit. The respondant will have to answer and the discovery process will flow from there.
