California law reg. removing a disruptive teenager

What is the law in California if a family has a disruptive teenager? Stealing, not going to school, using alcohol/drugs etc. Can the parents force him out or into foster care/group home? Or are the parents stuck with it.

The parents have the right to custody and control of a child under the age of 18. This includes the right to place the child in a home with limited rights. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
