Legal Question in Family Law in California

In California, I understand child support is determined by dissomaster software and it is almost certainly set, however, my understanding is that the alimony recommendation by dissomaster is negotiable, is this correct?

Mr. White is correct in what he says, but to answer your question, both child support and alimony are negotiable at any point in the case. If negotiations break down and the court has to decide, however, the Dissomaster will almost certainly control child support, as you say. The court has much more discretion in setting alimony and there is a multi-page-long code section listing all the factors the court must consider.
