Legal Question in Family Law in California
Hi! This case involves California family law. I am in the "homestretch" of a 4 1/2 year divorce process. My attorney just "dropped" me as a client because I could not make full payments. Now, I am on my own. My ex-to-be is represented by her father's big law firm (he is now retired) and they have continued to bombard me with requests for documents. Recently, they have (again) requested approx. 126 interrogatories regarding my finances. Though I make a fairly decent living (PhD in psychology and UCLA Instructor, etc.), I have huge debts and pay more than I can afford to my ex each month (she has not worked in 10 years, though the Judge has asked her to find employment). I would like to serve her with a similar document requesting 126 interrogatories. Your thoughts?? And how do I go about it?? - Thanks - Dr. Michael

You're about to take a knife to a tank battle. Don't do it. Find another attorney before you bring a landslide down on you.
