Legal Question in Family Law in California

case jurisdiction

my exwife filed for change of costudy in the county of kern but our current order is in san bernardino county. Is it legal for the judge to make any changes or does jurisdiction in the case have to change first? She got the case where she now resides by filling a TRO on false 3rd party statements/hearsay , which is to be heard next week.

You should consult with an attorney. The general rule is that when an active is filed in one county another case for the same issues should be either dismissed or consolidated.
