I'm assuming the boyfriend is the father of the child. If not, then you certainly cannot sue him for anything like that. If he is, you should contact the Dept. of Child Support Services in your county. They will help you establish whatever amounts of support you are entitled to and then collect them from him for you. You should do this now, not wait until you are off aid, since it can take some time to get it all done, and you may be entitled to something from him on top of your aid now.

In order to get daycare expenses from him, you need to have a support order that requires him to pay for a portion of the daycare expenses. If you get a child support order, it generally contains an order that any work related childcare is to be split 50/50 between the parties. Without an order, you can't sue him for childcare. Good Luck.
