Cashing out 401K

I cashed out my 401k before I was served with divorce papers. Is this still considered part of the marital assets to be divided? I used the money to pay off some community credit card debt

Generally money that is spent during the marriage is gone and not left to be divided during the divorce. This is particularly true if the funds are used to pay community debts.
