Certificate of State

I was married here and in Italy and legally divorce here and there. My ex is asking for a Certificate of State for me to send to him so he can be considered ''divorced'' and not ''seperated'' there. What is this and how can I obtain it?

I have no idea what he is requesting. Try a certified copy of the judgment dissolving the marriage. If that does not work then tell him to provide more information about the document.
