Legal Question in Family Law in California

certified papers

I am stationed in Germany at the moment and I have sole and physical custody of my son, filed in Calif. before I left and I need to get certified papers stating that.I have no idea how to do this, even the law office on Base has been no help. I've called the court with no response. Help!

Write to the clerk of the court (do not call). Give them the case number and the name of the paper you want (e.g. judgment). Enclose a large, stamped self addressed envelope. Provide a blank check marked "Not Good Over $25." That ought to do it.
