Legal Question in Family Law in California

want to change case to the county I live in

I filed a 388 petition in dependency court and was told I would be moved to another department then the one I was in. Can I just get this case heard in my county by filing a change of venue motion? The county my case is in is way more harsh on mothers then the county I live in tends to be on the side of returning children home. Please tell me how I might change the venue of the court.
