Legal Question in Family Law in California

Change of Circumstances

My husband is now a stay at home dad and takes care of our child. He has a child from a previous marriage and her mother will not allow him any more access to her than the ''papers'' allow, even though before he quit work, he was seeing her more then. He is willing to pick her up from school and keep her, but her mom pays for child care instead. She also does not consult with him when making decisions regarding his daughter's school or health; she claims that ''she forgets''. Her mother and step dad are also exposing her to some websites that they frequent that promote bigotry and porn. Is any of this enough for a change of circumstances?

Re: Change of Circumstances

Refusal of a parent to abide by a court order is a change of circumstances. Get yourself a child custody attorney, this won't be an easy case and may be a long process. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
