name change

do I have to go to court to change my name back to my maiden name after a divorce? or can I just start using my maiden name again?

to do it legally, you need a court order. so yes, you need to go back to court. if your divorce is finalized, then you might want to file a name change petition in the probate court. it's user friendly, you can do it without an attorney.
