name change
when my husband & i were dating he had lied to me about his name, I got pregnant and had a baby, on the babys certificate i put on the fathers name ,the fake name my husband gave me. we now want to fix it and put the correct fathers name. what can we do?

Possibilities: you say "we" so apparently you are still together, but maybe you are just cooperating. If your not together, its easiest to fix it in the divorce/custody/child support proceeding. If not, you can file a petition for change of name, which is a legal proceeding, but a small one. Last, it may be able to request an amended birth certificate -- research it.
