Legal Question in Family Law in California
Name Change
I have been married and divorced twice. My children are all from my first marriage and I would like to go back to that name to uncomplicate things. I am getting old and have a very serious illness. What do I need to do to take my first marriage name....or is it impossible to do?

You may run into complications if it was a part of the divorce order to restore your name to your maiden name. Please call me directly at (619) 222-3504.

Re: Name Change
Actually, it will be fairly simple. Get the form for restoration of previous name. The judge will sign and get about 5 certified copies, for Soc Sec, DMV, etc.
