But I have a court date scheduled in June that I plan on not attending bc I want to request a change of venue here on contact Costa cry,ca. Can this all work in my favor?

Absolutely not. First off, you are never allowed to just skip a court date. That is contempt of court and can get you fined or an automatic ruling against you or both. Failing to attend a court date not only will NOT work in your favor, it ALWAYS works against you. Second, just because you moved doesn't mean you are entitled to a change of venue of your family law case. If the other spouse still lives in Alameda county you will definitely NOT get a change of venue. If you have both moved out of the county, then you MAY get a change of venue in the court's discretion. Lastly, until you file a motion to change venue and it is granted, you are under the jurisdiction of the Alameda court and you disregard that court's orders and proceedings at your peril.
