Legal Question in Family Law in California

change of visitation

the original decree states that I will have custody/visitation every weekend, due to remarriage I would like to change this to every other weekend. Is this possible? Am I legally bound to have custody every weekend, the decree states my ex wife has the children 70% and I have them 30% what does that mean in the eyes of the court. How do I change this?

Re: change of visitation

You can change it with a motion to modify. In the eyes of the court your custody will change to 20%, which means you will pay more support.
