changing childs name @adoption
my ex remarried ,moved to california,& change my 13 yr old sonlast name to his without my permission. i had visitation rights at the time they left ,without notice to me,when my son was 5 yr old.he was adopted by them at age 21. is this legal?

If I read your question correctly, the child is now 21. If that is the case there is probably not a lot that you can do to about the adoption. Even if we assume that the adoption was not legally done and could be set aside, the end result would probably a refiling and completion of the adoption legally.
